W. Spalding White, Jr. - Partner 

Spalding joined Salem Halifax's predecessor fund, Salem Capital Partners, in 2003 and has over 18 years of experience in mezzanine and equity investing, commercial banking and corporate finance. Prior to joining Salem, Spalding spent seven years with SunTrust Bank, the last four with SunTrust Equity Partners ("STEP"), the merchant banking arm of SunTrust, where he was a Vice President and was involved in the origination, underwriting, structuring, monitoring and realization of investments.

Prior to joining STEP, Spalding spent two years in SunTrust's New York office. He began his career at SunTrust as an analyst on the commercial banking training program. Prior to joining SunTrust, Spalding worked in the finance department of an Atlanta based apartment investment and management firm, valuing potential real estate investments.

Spalding earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The Citadel and an MBA from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University.

Virginia G. Rollins - Partner

Ginger joined the Salem Halifax Capital Partners team in January 2010 and has been in private equity/mezzanine finance since 1998. She has worked in all phases of a transaction including marketing, origination, underwriting and portfolio management.

Prior to joining SHCP, Ginger served as a Managing Director for over 8 years at the Gladstone Companies, a group of three publicly traded funds totaling approximately $1.25 billion. Prior to Gladstone, she served as vice president and principal of American Capital Strategies, a publicly traded buyout fund based in Bethesda, MD. Prior to ACAS, Ginger was the Managing Director of the Bulgarian American Enterprise Fund (BAEF) in Sofia, Bulgaria, a $55 million investment fund, providing equipment loans, working capital, and growth financing to private companies in Bulgaria. Prior to BAEF, Ginger was an officer in the Finance Department, Caribbean and Central America Region, for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC). At OPIC, she managed an $18 million portfolio of loans to companies in tourism and food processing. Prior to OPIC, Ginger was employed by the First National Bank of Maryland (now M&T Bank). After completing a credit training program, she joined the Latin American Division of the bank, and was responsible for the administration of a $75 million portfolio of commercial loans, spread in Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia and Brazil.

Ginger holds a Master of International Management with Honors degree from the American Graduate School of International Management ("Thunderbird"), and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Joann Hearn - Controller

Joann Hearn joined Salem Halifax in 2007 to serve as controller. Prior to joining SHCP, Joann spent two years with Sara Lee Corporation / Hanesbrands, Inc. as a financial analyst and eleven years with Marsh, Inc. During her Tenure with Marsh, Inc. Joann served as a Working Capital Manager and a Treasury Operations Manager.

Joann is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University, where she earned a degree in Economics and Business Administration and Illinois Institute of Technology – Stuart School of Business, where she earned an MBA.
